Terms of Service

Welcome to LifeHub. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the LifeHub mobile application, website, and related services (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

LifeHub is operated by an independent software developer based in Portugal (“LifeHub”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). You can contact us at support@thelifehubapp.com.

1) Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by your country of residence) to use the Service.

2) Accounts & Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate and up-to-date information.

3) Household Sharing

  • LifeHub enables shared households. Content you add to a household may be visible to other members and administrators of that household.
  • You are responsible for inviting users and managing roles.
  • Do not add individuals to a household without their permission.

4) Acceptable Use

  • Misuse or interfere with the normal operation of the Service
  • Attempt unauthorized access, scraping, reverse engineering, or introducing malicious code
  • Upload or share unlawful, infringing, harmful, or abusive content
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity

5) User Content

  • You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service.
  • You grant LifeHub a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service.
  • We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

6) Third-Party Services & AI Features

  • The Service relies on third-party infrastructure providers and may offer optional AI-powered features.
  • If you enable AI features or provide your own API keys, data sent to third-party providers is governed by their respective terms and policies.
  • LifeHub does not control or guarantee outputs generated by third-party AI services.

7) Payments (If Applicable)

Some features may require payment through app stores or other platforms. Pricing, billing, and refunds are governed by the policies of the platform through which you make the purchase.

8) Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data are described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you agree to that policy.

9) Service Availability & Changes

  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10) Termination

  • You may stop using the Service at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

11) Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

12) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LifeHub shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is not permitted under applicable consumer protection laws.

13) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LifeHub from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and applicable European Union law. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Portugal, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

15) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by updating the effective date or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
